Booking & Salon Policies
Deposit
To secure your appointment date, a $100 deposit is required within one hour of booking, payable via Zelle (gracedbyfed@gmail.com) or Venmo (@fedmezie). This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service. The remaining balance, as outlined in your confirmation text, will be due at the time of your appointment. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to one rescheduled appointment. Once your deposit is received, your temporary hold will be confirmed as a fixed appointment, and you will officially be booked with GracedbyFed! A confirmation text will be sent 72 hours before our scheduled appointment. I can’t wait to work with you!
Hair Preparation
Hair should be freshly washed, detangled, stretched, and blown out (no flat ironing) for faster, more efficient service and optimal results. If you’ve booked a wash and blow-dry, this doesn’t apply..
Products
Please book/request WASH + CONDITION services as needed. If prepping at home, ensure hair is thoroughly cleansed. Use a lightweight, water-based leave-in conditioner only—avoid oils, grease, lotions, gels, or creams, as they may affect results.
Late Policy
Punctuality is essential for keeping appointments on schedule. A 9-minute grace period is allowed, but a $25 late fee will apply after 10 minutes. If you are more than 20 minutes late, the appointment will be canceled.
Cancellation / Rescheduling
Please note that all deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to one rescheduled appointment.Changes must be made 48 hours in advance. If canceled within 24 hours, you will be charged $50 of the total remaining balance.
Payment
Deposits apply toward your balance. Remaining payment is due upon service completion. Accepted methods: Zelle (gracedbyfed@gmail.com) or Venmo (@fedmezie)
Parking
Parking is limited in both the mall lot and on the street, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early to secure a spot. Valet parking is available if you choose to use it.
Salon Policies
1. Due to limited spacing, Only the client being serviced is allowed to be in the salon during and throughout the course of the service. Please limit in-person visits (food delivers, visits to friends) to no more than 5 minutes t
2. Children are not allowed to stay in the shop.
3. Chaperones or guardians are not allowed to stay in the shop during their childs services.
4. Smoke breaks are not allowed during services.
5. Please come with a sweater in case it gets exceedingly cold in the salon.
Home Visits
- Clients are required to create a clear and clean work space for the stylists
- All pets (dogs, cats, snakes, etc) must be away from the working space location for the duration of the hair appointment.
- Clients who are receiving service at their home are allotted two breaks of 10 minutes each. Consecutive breaks for childcare, eating, work, etc will result in an abrupt end of services and the total balance will be due for payment.
- Please ensure that you have proper childcare during your service to refrain from multiple breaks during the session.
