Can I pay my deposit in two days?

Unfortunately, no. Deposits are due within 2 hours of creating your initial appointment. We provide a 2-hour window to submit your deposit via Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Cash deposits are not accepted at this time.

Can I bring my children, spouse, or a friend to my appointment?

At this time, space is limited, so only the client receiving services is allowed at the appointment. Additional guests are not permitted.

Can I eat during my appointment?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to eat, drink, and be merry. We don’t believe in starving clients—and we may even enjoy a snack moment together.

I need to reschedule my appointment. How do I do that?

Great question. Reschedule requests are accepted up to 24 hours in advance. Requests made within 24 hours are not guaranteed unless extenuating circumstances apply. We operate on the honor system—please don’t kill off imaginary relatives to reschedule. Just be honest, and we’ll do our best to work something out.

Can I bring my own hair?

Absolutely. We’re always happy to recommend hair we trust, but if you prefer a brand or type we don’t offer, we’re open to using it—just let us know in advance.

Why do I have to pay for custom color just to get color for my braids?

Great question! We completely understand that custom color may feel like an added cost. With GracedbyFed, you’re not just getting colored braiding hair—you’re receiving hand-blended, custom-made color that’s carefully matched and seamlessly integrated into your style. Our color services include precise tucking from root to finish, ensuring a uniform, polished look throughout the braids. After all, what’s the point of investing in color if it’s going to look like zebra stripes? Custom color takes time, skill, and care—and trust us, the results are worth it.

Do you offer home services?

Yes, in a limited capacity and by request only. While we appreciate being welcomed into your home, this is still a business. Clients must be seated and ready, and the service must be completed within the expected timeframe. Please ensure a clean, safe, and distraction-free environment so we can do our best work.

Do you do children’s hair?

We’ve had great experiences with kids, but that chapter has closed. At this time, we do not offer children’s services. We currently service clients ages 15 and up.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We occasionally offer holiday promotions. We also provide $15 off for active students, veterans, healthcare professionals, and teachers. Proof is required at the time of service.

I don’t see a service I’ve booked before—what happened?

Thank you for always choosing GracedbyFed. We’re currently streamlining our service menu to make room for bigger and better things ahead. If a service you’re used to isn’t listed, we’re happy to recommend another stylist who may be a great fit for your desired look.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive on time. Early arrivals may not be accommodated, and late arrivals may result in shortened services or cancellation.

What happens if I’m late?

Appointments are scheduled tightly. A 15-minute grace period may be offered, but anything beyond that may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.

Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable and secure your appointment time. They may be transferred one time if rescheduling guidelines are followed.

How should I prepare my hair before my appointment?

Hair should be clean, detangled, and product-free unless otherwise stated in your service description. Failure to prep properly may result in additional fees or cancellation.

Do you wash hair as part of the service?

Unless explicitly stated, wash services are not included. Please book accordingly or arrive with prepped hair.

How long will my appointment take?

Service times vary by style. Please refer to the booking description for estimated duration and plan your day accordingly.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Accepted payments include Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, and cash (for remaining balances only). No checks.

Do you offer refunds once the service is completed?

Due to the nature of hair services, all sales are final. If you have concerns, please address them during your appointment so adjustments can be made.

Can I record or take photos during my appointment?
